In 1986, Don Allen started the business now known as Donald H. Allen Development, Inc. The new company quickly became a highly sought-after builder of custom homes. Auburn University's phenomenal growth during this period created the need for new multi-family and student housing as well as related commercial development. This demand prompted the company's crossover from home builder to property development and multi-family residential and commercial construction. As Auburn continued to grow, so did our reputation as builders of quality residential and commercial projects. We also began to enjoy the repeat business of virtually all past customers and a reputation for delivering quality projects at a fair price. A large portion of our work comes from repeat customers who have come to expect the same high standard and on-time delivery of their projects.
